How To Say Thanks To Kids

We human beings in course of time have set some basic and unpardonable rules for ourselves. The rules and norms of society have been set on the basic premise that every member is to follow these norms in the form of the law of the land, any person who dares to disobey these time-tested regulations aimed at progressing towards a higher society is termed as a delinquent. One of our society’s basic norms consists of saying a verbal thank you in return for a favor or a much required grant. However the greatest fault or folly within our social system is that the rules, norms, regulations and conventions have only been limited to the adult strata of the society and have failed to percolate towards the adolescents or children section of it.

In our eager desire to appear as a socially well-behaved creature in the eyes of our “elders and better” we hardly ever miss out on thanking our elders forsaking the part where sometimes we should even thank the young toddlers of our society who form the basis of our future society. Hypocrites leave no stone unturned when it comes to impressing those who will prove beneficial to them but a real and true individual knows the value of even thanking kids for the good done by them.

Apart from it being our social responsibility, there is something very unique in thanking a kid for his good turn. Firstly because it is done selflessly, it ignites a sense of satisfaction in the thanks giver and also gives immense pleasure to the kid as well for his face lights up instantly with a divine light. Wordsworth had once said,” A child comes trailing clouds of glory” which means that since children are closest to god, one is indirectly thanking God for the services rendered by those tiny palms.
